The Hong Kong Higher Education Promotion Association (HKHEPA) was established in 2019. It is a non-profit charitable organization registered with the relevant authorities in Hong Kong, rooted in Hong Kong and dedicated to serving young people. Guided by its founding principle of "Serving Youth, Rooted in Hong Kong, Embracing the World," the Association upholds four core principles: public welfare, service, education, and non-profit operation. With charity at the heart of its mission, the Association focuses on promoting access to and innovation in higher education, fostering international cultural exchange, and supporting the holistic development of young people. It also actively leverages artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance educational and charitable services, empower Hong Kong youth, and build bridges for educational and cultural exchange among Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and the international community.
The Association's core team consists of experienced professionals from the education, technology, and charitable sectors. Its members possess extensive expertise in higher education management, international cultural exchange, AI technology research and development, and charitable project operations. Upholding the development philosophy of "Public Welfare First, Technology Empowerment, and Cultural Connectivity," the Association allocates all operating income and donated funds exclusively to charitable projects, the development of AI educational tools, the organization of international exchange activities, and youth support services. By actively fulfilling its social responsibilities as a charitable organization, the Association is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality charitable services that support the growth and development of young people in Hong Kong.
