Several guests from the cultural and artistic sectors shared their perspectives on Chinese character writing, calligraphy education, and contemporary expressions of traditional culture, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of the historical heritage and cultural significance embodied in the art of calligraphy.
During the event, President Kwok Tsz Fuk stated that Chinese characters and calligraphy are important carriers of Chinese culture. Through learning and appreciating calligraphy, young people can not only enhance their aesthetic appreciation but also deepen their understanding of China's rich traditional culture. She encouraged young people to draw inspiration from traditional culture and promote cultural preservation and innovation with an open-minded perspective.
The Hong Kong Higher Education Promotion Association will continue to focus on cultural education for young people.
